Daniel Giordano’s galaxies (Galaxy I - III) are temporary sculptures holding his interpretation of Italian desserts — Minne di Sant’Agata, Sise delle Monache, Le Fedde del Cancellieri, Tiramisu.

He merges the lore of Pacentro and a suggestion from a new friend to run with an idea parallel to the Corsa degli Zingari. An endurance test for this emerging artist from Vicki Island who is subject for the first time to “il dolce far niente.” During the celebration of Madonna di Loreto, the practice of meditation and devotion emerge in this site responsive installation as he contemplates.
